Luggage Pros Selects SPS Commerce's Web-Based EDI Service to Automate Vendor Interactions

Jul 12, 2010

MINNEAPOLIS, Jul 12, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- SPS Commerce (Nasdaq:SPSC), a leading provider of on-demand supply chain management solutions, today announced that Luggage Pros, an online and traditional retailer of luggage and accessories, has selected its integrated Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) service to automate Luggage Pros' order and invoicing processes. The outsourced EDI solution will be deployed this summer and integrated with Luggage Pros' proprietary systems in preparation for their busy winter holiday season.

"Our lean staff at Luggage Pros did not want to become experts in EDI, but wanted to reap the benefits of integrating with our vendors," commented Andy Gass, Vice President of Operations at Luggage Pros. "Unlike other on-demand EDI providers, SPS Commerce offers us a worry-free 'hands off' solution. In addition to their proven technology, SPS' staff manages all integrations or maps with our vendors, allowing our IT department to focus on other aspects of our business. This summer we will connect with our large volume suppliers and those suppliers who have proactively expressed interest in doing EDI with Luggage Pros."

SPS Commerce's web-based EDI service is an alternative to traditional EDI software. Its multi-tenant, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) architecture and extensive data center provide a reliable system managed by a team of EDI experts.

"We are pleased to have been selected by Luggage Pros to provide a comprehensive, on-demand solution for their integration needs," said Archie Black, President and CEO of SPS Commerce. "We look forward to managing integration needs and bringing new efficiencies to their supply chain."
